This is a great salt and pepper grinder in that you can have both right at your hands and not have to have two separate units. Each side holds a good amount so you won't have to refill very often. It was super easy to fill and you can't accidentally spill pepper into the salt or vise versa. It was easy to twist and puts out a good amount with each twist. The grind adjustment was easy to set and each end has it's own cap to catch any pepper/salt dust that is left over so you don't have a mess on your counter. I love the see thru window as you can tell how much is left in each side. Each side grinds separately and you can adjust the grind on each side. I'm not sure if it is typical but mine came with an extra end cap which I thought was a nice plus. The stainless steel is easy to clean and looks great sitting out. If you don't do your own ground salt, like me, then you can put different pepper corns in each side. I find that I use less pepper when it is freshly ground and therefore save money in the long run. Nothings better than fresh ground pepper and this grinder gives you fresh salt or pepper every time. This set would make a great house warming gift or for the bride to be as well as anyone you know that loves to cook. I was provided a sample of the product for my honest unbiased review.
