The first EVOO I have ever fell in love with!
I have always been a fan of olive oil but only used it for cooking until I was on vacation and got the opportunity to taste a true quality olive oil and bread at a restaurant. This olive oil is even better than the one I tried. They served it over some herbs and with warm bread so I tried to mimic that combination and let me say "wow", I loved it. I had never truly liked olive oil that way and maybe that is because I had never had a great quality olive oil. Now that I have tried this olive oil we'll be eating more foods with it on it like the bread and salad. The taste is amazing and it comes in a dark bottle which is the best to package and keep olive oil in since light can take away from it. I did notice it was a bit thicker than the olive oil I had been purchasing in the store and the color was a wee bit different. To me that just said it was a different yet better olive oil. I'm going to try some other uses for it as a friend has suggested that I try it for my hair and skin. I think this olive oil would be perfect for any food or any use. The fact that it comes from our own country and is better than some imported oils I have tried just makes me want to keep purchasing it! I do think however I will save this oil just for using in a raw state, not for cooking since the flavor and taste are just to wonderful not to enjoy on it's own. Now I can recreate the dish I fell in love with on vacation, enjoy the health benefits of a quality olive oil and leave the store stuff for frying!
