Quick reading thermometer with preset temperatures!
This instant read digital thermometer is perfect for those of us that don't know how to cook meat anyway other than well done. I've always cooked steaks well dome but my son likes his steak medium rare and I always guessed at it. Now I can cook everyone's steak to perfection with this thermometer from Preve. It has a nice long probe so I can reach into the oven and not worry about getting to close to the hot rack. It come's with pre-programmed temperatures so I don't even have to remember what temperature which meat needs to be, the thermometer already knows. It really does read the temperature in less than 5 seconds and will beep when the desired temperature is reached. I don't see as well as I used to and having a digital thermometer makes it much easier to see the temperature plus the beep is perfect for when I'm rushed and don't want to read the temp. It's not warm enough for grilling yet but this will get lots of use come grilling season. I love to make candy and having this instant read thermometer means I can get the perfect temperature for my candy making. I never use Celsius but it's nice to know I can use it if I should run across a recipe that only has that temperature listed. The thermometer comes with a little cover for the sharp end to protect it. It was easy to set up my own temperatures, it was simple to figure out straight out of the box. It comes with the battery so your ready when it arrives to wash and use it. I am very happy with the quality and ease of use of the Preve instant read thermometer. I would feel very comfortable giving it as a wedding gift, birthday gift or a gift for my favorite cook or bbq master. I was provided a sample of the product for my honest unbiased review.
