I really enjoy anything that uses solar power as opposed to electricity or batteries as I like not having the restraints that they can have. With this floating solar fountain pump from E-More I don't have any restrictions with the exception of needing sunlight. The only assembly was choosing which sprayer I wanted since you get a choice of 6 different sprays.The instructions were a bit misleading in that they said to attach the pump to the solar panel but it is already attached. You can change your desired spray pattern anytime you want! Since someone, I won't mention my husband here, hasn't brought out my birdbath yet, I had to settle on playing with it in a bowl, lolThe solar floating fountain started working the moment I set it into the water in full sun. It will shut itself off if it loses sunlight, therefore, saving the motor. I tried it both under water and floating. I worked great either way, so if you'd rather have it under the water then I couldn't find a reason not to enjoy it that way.Overall, I couldn't be happier with the ability to have 6 choices in sprays and the performance of the pump. Perfect size and weight plus includes an extra battery!
We live in a very rural area and are often out at night. We always carry a flashlight but bugs really like them too, lol Having this waterproof flashlight that shines red has some real advantages! The bugs don't flock to it, your eyes adjust more quickly and animals aren't startled as they are with a normal flashlight.The light shines a good distance, plenty for walking or hunting. Hunters will especially appreciate the light. It is a very comfortable size and comes with an attached hand strap so you don't have to worry about dropping it. The E-More light is also waterproof and they company even gives you an extra battery which is much appreciated. With the extra battery, I don't have to worry about needing the light only to find out the battery is dead, I can just pop the extra one in. How cute is this set of constructive eating utensils from Constructive Eating?! I purchased these for our grandson since one he's getting to where he'd rather play than eat and he loves heavy equipment. You get a fork, spoon, and a cute dozer to help push the food onto the other two! They are the perfect size for little hands and very well made!I love that I can throw them in the dishwasher without any worries. The handles have a grip section to allow a better hold for little hands. This set is perfect for boys and girls alike! What child doesn't like to play with their food, lol Now they can play and eat at the same time! Compact and easy to take anywhere!
This has to be the smallest camera I've ever seen, lol When I opened it, the first thought was, this is a joke right? Nope, no joking it is a video recorder! While the resolution is only around 720 by 480p it isn't intended for HD recording which I wasn't expecting and it is plenty to get the job done. This camera from Conbrov came with 3 different holders so you get a choice of mounting it, wearing it and sitting it on a table, etc.I like that it can be set for motion detection or continuous recording. This would be great for meetings, getting the kids on tape when you're busy playing with them or even security while you are out and about. I worry when I'm out alone these days and now I can wear this little device and should I have an accident, etc, I have video available as evidence, of course, I'm hoping it won't be necessary, lolThis would also be a great little camera to use if you are a junior private detective, lol Seriously, there have been so many times I wish I had things on video and now I don't ever have to wish that again since I'll always have this little camera with me. Just make sure to check the laws in your state about recording people, etc.It uses a micro SD card so al l you have to do is take out the card and pop it into your card reader. You can put a memory card up to 32gb in it which will hold plenty of footage. I tried it on my laptop and didn't experience any issues with viewing the footage.The only drawback I had was how long it took to charge. I gave up after a couple of hours and just let it charge all night.Overall, I found the mini motion camera to be small, well made and suitable for many situations. I don't have to peel my garlic first! Works great!
I really like this garlic press from HST and my favorite feature is that I don't have to peel the garlic first! I know how to peel garlic easily but still don't like dealing with it. With this stainless steel garlic press, I don't have to even bother with peeling as it will press the garlic and leave the peel behind!The press is not heavy but does have solid handles that give me more leverage when pressing garlic, more leverage means I have to exert less pressure and since I have arthritis in my hands, that is a big plus for me. The press basket isn't large enough for elephant garlic but that isn't an issue for me since I have rarely used that size. The press will even accommodate peeled ginger and several of my recipes have both garlic and ginger so I can use just one utensil and press both, less clean up for me!Inside the press, you will find the basket. The basket is removable which makes it much easier to clean than other presses I have tried. With the garlic press being made from stainless steel, I can toss it in the dishwasher without any worries. Great set of brushes but I didn't care for the case.
This set of double-sided makeup brushes are a good quality brush for applying your makeup. They are easy to clean and very comfortable while using. I like that they are double sided so I don't have to change brushes.The bristles are super soft and feel great against your skin. They really hold makeup well so you don't have the waste you can get with cheaper brushes. I like that Docolor provides you with 5 brushes but you are actually getting 10 so that you always have the perfect size to fit your needs.I wasn't very impressed with the included case as it felt cheap and the two side flaps are difficult to keep in place. I had rather have them in a nicer case since the brushes are such good quality they deserve a better case to protect them. A unique enhancement for your boring gutters!
I have been thinking about rain chains for a while now but really didn't see any that caught my eye until this golden canary copper rain chain shaped like a ship's bell! The bells are just gorgeous on their own but when paired with the chain and water they are remarkable. I couldn't put them up because it wouldn't stop storming and once I did get them up, I didn't think it would ever rain so I could enjoy them, lol We finally got our rain and I must say they are wonderful to watch. I feared since we were getting heavy rains that the bells wouldn't be able to handle the amount of water but they did great. The only drawback was that with the wind a lot of the water blew out at where the chain meets the downspout. When it wasn't raining, I worried about the winds we were having throwing them around and into the post but that never happened which sold me on them even before the rains came. I'm afraid I didn't get to enjoy the sounds as the rain was being blown toward us.While I can't find anything wrong that would remove a star, I do have some wishes, lol I would love to have 4 or 5 more lengths to the chain, without having to purchase a whole chain and waste some cups, for personal reasons. I would love to see the company add the option to buy more lengths and then add a copper barrel, planter or another decorative item to put under the chain in order to catch the water and/or disperse the water much like a gutter guard would do. If you want to collect rainwater then these would not only aid in doing so but look wonderful in the process.I can't wait for the patina to start for that realistic antique look! I have so many ideas for ways to enhance the experience of these rain chains my mind can't decide which one to start with, lolOverall, I found this set of rain chains to be great quality, beautiful and able to withstand strong storms! A good solution to traditional sippy cups when traveling!
This set of silicone sippy lids is a great way to have a sippy cup almost anywhere you go without the bulk of an actual cup. ModFamily did a good job on creating a better way to travel with kids and cups. Not only are the great for traveling but at home also. You can turn almost any sturdy cup/tumbler into a sippy cup.Most kids want to drink out of a cup just like their parents and now they can with these silicone sippy lids. The lids are a bit difficult to put on the first few times but do loosen a bit after a few uses. They won't fit every cup or tumbler, so I recommend trying them on the cup empty first. You do really want to be very careful if you are using a breakable container as these will not stop them from breaking!The lids were a bit hard to get the liquid out of, requiring the child to suck harder but I may experiment later with seeing if the opening can be widened and still have the spill proof ability left. Once the lids are on, though, spilling shouldn't be a problem. I appreciate that they can be thrown in the dishwasher and even hand washing is a breeze. The ability to get all the nooks and crannies clean is a big plus.I do wish the pink lid were replaced with yellow since there are some people with boys that wouldn't touch a pink lid, lol Overall, I found the lids to be a great solution to buying numerous sippy cups and perfect for traveling. Good variety but I don't think professional quality
This is a good set of colored pencils with a variety of colors but several of the colors are so close to the same color it makes it difficult to tell a difference. I didn't have any problems with the points breaking but like others have stated the color is light and does require more than a once over if you are looking for vivid color. I wouldn't rate them so much for a professional artist but more for a hobbyist or children.I enjoyed coloring with them and the length allows for more use for the buck, lol. US Art Supply did a good job assembly a variety of colors but the case is more of a nuisance to me for two reasons: 1) You can't fold it, so it's quite large for carrying with you and 2) Everytime I try to open the case, pencils go flying, therefore, I've taken them out and thrown away the case.Overall, the pencils are a good quality but light on color.
