Perfect to rid small rooms or spaces of dampness!
We recently had to replace our hot water heater and in doing so I noticed that the pipe bringing water into the hot water heater was sweating, some bright person thought it was a good idea to put a hot water heater inside a carpeted bedroom closet, duh! Finding the sweaty pipe explained why the closet always seemed to feel damp. I put this dehumidifier from 1byone in the closet and it worked like a charm! It takes up very little space and is so quiet that I almost forget it's there. So far it is collecting a cup every other day and the closet feels much better and smells nice and fresh! The collection tank is right on the front and sides out for easy emptying then slides right back in just as smoothly. It literally takes me seconds to empty and replace the collection cup. I also like that should I forget to empty the collection cup, done that once already, the dehumidifier will shut itself off! With this unit being so light and quiet, it is perfect for moving from room to room of taking with you to use in your camper. We have a friend that complains about their camper smelling musty after sitting for a long period so I let her try it for a couple of days and she was amazed at how much moisture it captured and how much better the camper smelled! You could also use it in the bathroom while showering to provide extra moisture control. Overall, I was happy with how quiet the unit is, how well it pulled the moisture out of the air and the portability. I was provided a sample of the product for my honest unbiased review.
