I can finally fix my broken jewelry and start making some of my own!
I am so pleased to have this desktop magnifier so I can fix my broken jewelry! I have had this one particular necklace sitting in my jewelry box for years that I knew I could fix if only I had the eyes to see the tiny rings. Now I have a fixed necklace that I can wear thanks to this magnifier. I don't mind at all that it is plastic, as a matter of fact, I like it since it makes it lighter and easier for me to take out and put up. Even though all the red you see is plastic, it is not cheap plastic but sturdy and well made. While I don't solder, might have to start, I did appreciate the clasps which for me were like having an extra set of hands! The magnifier can be set at any angle or height you need and underneath is a light to aid while you work if you so desire. The little tray underneath is metal and perfect for holding small items that otherwise might roll away or get knocked off you workstation. The entire unit is compact enough that you could leave it out on your desk or work area without taking up a huge amount of space. I have been using this to fix my poor broken jewelry and now that I can see what I'm doing, I am getting back into making jewelry for friends, family and myself thanks to this helping hands soldering magnifier from Kitclan. I was happy with the price point since for myself it has saved me much more than the cost to be able to repair my own jewelry! I was provided a sample of the product for my honest unbiased review.
