I must say that I was very skeptical about how well Mary's Muscle Freeze would work. My husband hurt his shoulder, not sure how, and was in pain for 3 days. We tried everything to get him relief. We tried, heat, ice, tens unit and other pain relief rubs to no avail. The relief would only be temporary, as in a few hours.
He hadn't had a nights sleep since it started and I figured what can it hurt to try Mary's Muscle Freeze. To my surprise and his relief, he got his first's nights sleep after only one application! By the second application, he no longer had any shoulder pain.
Is this a miracle? I would say no but I can say that it worked!
The product is just a bit thicker than hair conditioner and comes in a pump bottle. We only used one pump and was able to cover his whole shoulder and shoulder blade. So a little dab, as they say, will do you!
The muscle freeze does have a very pungent menthol smell when first applied but diminishes to no smell within a couple of hours. You won't smell like your grandmother the whole time it is working, Lol
Another advantage is with the menthol, if you are placing it anywhere near the top of your body and have a stuffed up nose, it will help relieve that also!
I am anxious to test this on a winter cold! We use a menthol rub when we get a head or chest cold and I am wondering if this will not only help with the congestion but also the aches. I truly think it will but am not willing to intentionally get a cold to find out, lol
Overall, I am super happy with the pain and muscle relief Mary's Muscle Freeze provided and will keep some on hand at all times!
