The Deess permanent hair removal device works! Now let me tell you this: It does take following the instructions and you may find you need to watch a YouTube video or two but it is well worth the time.
The Deess hair removal unit fits nicely in your hand and is not heavy which is important to me. The device will make some noise since there is a cooling fan inside but it is in no way loud. It sounds (to me) much like the fan in my laptop to give you so idea of the level.
I really like that Deess included sunglasses with the product. The glasses fold us, how neat, lol. It also comes with the instruction book and removable wall plug.
I have been using mine for a couple of months now and the regrowth of hair has really been reduced. My underarms are all but free of hair!
I use mine 2 to 3 times a week, depending on my mood and time. I suggest (as does the instructions) you shave the day before for the best results. I have seen on another review stating they smelled burning hair, oh my, I can only guess their hair had not been shaven as I tested it after letting some hair grow and yes, on the highest setting, after two zaps, I smelled burning hair which told me the person may not have shaved. Please shave first, lol.
The unit has 5 setting with an indicator light so you have no trouble knowing which on you have it on. I suggest starting out with one and they try different settings to find the one that suits you best. We all have different skin types so while I can use the number 5 setting it might sting someone else. It should not hurt and if it does then I suggest a lower setting. Using lotion after the device will put the moisture back that the laser can remove and soothes the skin.
The only drawback I have found with the unit is that the skin sensor is too sensitive. What I mean is that if you don't get enough surface area contact then the unit will not work. The face is super hard for me and I have given up trying it there since I don't seem to be able to get enough skin to device contact for it to work. This is something I feel needs improvement!
I have a device from another manufacturer that does not have the skin sensor and it works perfectly on my face!
Overall, I can say the device does what it says and you will be hair free in no time if you are willing to follow instructions and have the patience and commitment to using it for an extended period of time as the results do not show overnight or quickly!
