This knee brace has been a great help to my husband. Driving a truck and having to clutch all day has taken a tole on his knee. He has always has problems with his left knee but using the clutch so much it has really started to bother him. I suggested a knee brace and he was willing to try. I liked the looks of this brace mainly because it was adjustable and the cut out for the knee cap. My husband has been wearing it a few days now and I cam happy to report that it has greatly improved his knee pain. He said being able to adjust it to his leg was a great help and he thought the cut out made a big difference than the solid knee braces he had tried in his younger years. The brace is slightly padded, not enough to be noticeable just enough to add comfort. It has velcro straps so you can adjust it to fit your own leg. The material and workmanship appear to be top quality. I'm glad to have found this knee brace and even more glad it is working great at relieving his knee pain!
