I love this pastry mat and it brings back childhood memories when I use it!
My mother use to have a plastic mat that had measurements on it that she used every morning to make biscuits. I always wanted one and didn't even think they made them any more. Sili Bake not only makes one but it's a much improved version but still brings back the memories of watching mom use hers. This pastry mat is perfect in every way! It super thin but don't let that fool you! It clings to your stove or counter and won't move while your kneading, rolling or measuring your creations. I love that you can freeze it, use it in the over and put it in the dishwasher. I hand wash mine but that is my preference. Nothing sticks to it! Nice large surface to work on too! I love rolling out cookies, rolls, biscuits, etc and have always fought sticking no matter how hard I tried.Not any more! I can bake away and enjoy it even more than before. I can no have uniform fried pies where as before they were all different sizes, lol. I can have the perfect cookies, all the same size! It has 2 recipes on one side and charts on the other. No having to look up measurements or conversions! When you done and it's nice clean and dry, just roll it up and store it. It takes so little space, I personally like to put mine back in the box it came in. I am so happy to have my childhood memories come alive every time I use the Sili Bake pastry mat!
