I wasn't expecting much, long wait for ice, difficult to use, etc. I was blow away the first time I use it! I had ice in 5 minutes! It was so simple to use. All you do (after cleaning it first of course) is pour water in, close the lid, select the size of ice you want and sit back and in less than 5 minutes you have ice! It even comes with an ice scoop. I love that it recycles the water if the ice starts to melt. It has a viewing window so you can watch it work. We're easily entertained so watching it was fascinating, lol It's so quiet you won't even notice it's on. It has a warning light and beeps if it runs out of water or the ice basket is full! You can easily switch between ice sizes with the push of a button, no need to turn the machine off or restart it. I had a full basket in less than an hour. I thought of so many ways I'll be able to use this ice machine. For one it is much cheaper than having a built in ice maker repaired or replaced. You can carry it in an RV, camping if you have electric or have it on the patio at your pool party. I thought they would be the quality of my solid ice cubes since they were hollow but I was wrong. I put the large ones in my glass and went about my business as usual. I was surprised that they lasted just as long as the solid ice I have always used. You can fill the tank and then walk away and have a basket full of ice in not time. The basket has slots so that if the ice starts melting it will stay dry and the water will go back into the water tank, therefore you get dry ice and don't waste a drop of water! Portable, simple to use and quiet, Ivation though of it all! I would totally recommend this ice machine as it more than past my expectations! If you need extra ice as we do when everyone is here, or go camping, have parties or just need ice, this is the machine to use! I received this product free for my honest unbiased review.
