Great quality expandable garden hose with a guarantee!
I have purchased a few of this type hose in the past only to be disappointed by the end of the season. I have yet to get an expandable garden hose last past one season, that being said, I decided to try this hose and give it one more shot. The thing that caught my eye first was that it is 4 layers as opposed to the standard 2 to 3 layers. The outside material is stronger, thicker and appears to the eye and feel to be much better quality than previous versions I've owned. I am impressed that it comes with brass connectors which are my favorite type. The shut off valve is a big plus if you give it some thought. If you use the valve then if one of your pets chews on it and punctures it or in my case, the husband accidentally runs over your hoses with the lawn mower, then you have an added protection against unforeseen leaks! I think it is terrific that RY Gardener also supplies you with 6 extra washers! I hate needing a washer, as all washers wear out over time, then have to run all the way to the store to get one just to use my hose. Another added bonus that impressed me was the addition of an adjustable sprayer. It has 8 adjustable patterns and is not cheap plastic. It feels very comfortable in my hand and can be locked in the on position so you don't have to hold the handle down while using it, saving your hand from getting fatigued if using it for a long period of time. RV Gardener even includes a nice handy hanger with the package. Best of all, it comes with a full one year guarantee! It all arrived in a very nice box that would be perfect for gift giving to your favorite gardener! Overall, I was impressed with the 4 layers, quality of workmanship and the guarantee!
