Fun for kids and adults alike! I had a blast building my first truck!
I know this set of Magformers is for children but I have to admit, I had a blast playing with them! At first glance, I thought there was no way a child could ever make sense of this set much less put anything together. I was very wrong, I found the instructions very simple, so simple that I built a dump truck in just a few minutes and I've never been good at building anything especially when it comes to toys. The instructions are pictures showing where to put the pieces, how they lay and the finished product. At the bottom of the instruction page is each piece that you will need along with how many of each piece. A couple of times I wasn't sure if I was doing it right but I just looked at the picture along side the instructions and then it was clear. The magnets hold tight and won't easily fall off. The vehicles aren't tiny by any means, they are nice and big, the dump truck I built is a good 12" long! If your child likes to build or loves heavy equipment then this set is perfect! There are so many pieces and so many vehicles to build that you and your child will have hours of fun but adults can have just as much fun. This set not only is entertaining it lets kids feel accomplished and is great for imaginative children, rainy day fun or to perk up a child that is feeling under the weather. I know from a female perspective that I myself have been having fun playing with them while I wait for our grandson to come and take them away from me, lol. If I could change anything about he set, I would include a storage case, I would love to be able to keep them in their own protective case, maybe this is something the company will add or sell separately.
