Farewell to flies!
One of my biggest pet peeves is a bug in the house, especially a fly, disgusting! I have literally chased a fly all day trying to swat it, lol. I put the PestiTech on my kitchen counter for a few days to test it before giving it a final home and I have to say, no more fly chasing for me! The very first day I turned it on, I had an annoying fly and it wasn't long that I noticed the darn thing wasn't hoovering and driving me nuts so I went and checked the unit. There it was, lying deceased on the floor of the unit, I felt like I had scored a touchdown, lol. The entire unit feels well made and sturdy. It does come with a chain if you would like to hang it up plus on the side is an on and off switch. While it is an indoor unit, I would think you could easily use it outside as long as it was protected from the weather.
The UV light looks like the kind we used growing up in the outdoor bug zappers! I can't hear not one sound coming from this unit and that makes me want to do a happy dance since I can't stand a humming or buzzing sound. I'm sure had I been in the same room as the unit when that nuisance of a fly got cooked, I would have heard the joy of him getting zapped but since I was in the other room, I didn't hear a thing, not a scream, grunt, groan or the sound of frying, lol.
Overall, I love this unit and have had the pleasure of ridding my home of pesky flying insects and would love to have something this well made for those outside nuisances! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this unit especially if you have a camper and are bothered by bugs when camping! I was provided a discount or sample of the product for my honest unbiased review.
