Make 9 ice balls at once!
While I would like to give this ice ball maker 5 stars, I simply can't for these reasons: Filling the ice ball maker takes patience as you have to run the faucet very, very slow. After 2 tries, I am still working on perfect ice balls and would like it simple enough to get it right the first time. The amount of loose ice inside, once froze, can leave a mess. Getting all of them completely full without getting water all over the top was a pain. I only took off one star since I will take the blame for some of the problems.
Now we have my downside to this ice ball maker and on to the good things, lol. I like that The Brothers Tod ice ball maker lets me make 9 ice balls at once! I do appreciate that all 9 ice balls are in one tray that sits great in the freezer. I appreciate that the ice ball maker is nonstick silicone making them very easy to get out. Having these ice balls means I don't have to go to get ice as often as with regular ice cubes. The tray snaps together easily and feels like good quality silicone and therefore should last for a very long time if not forever, lol. I'm sure with time, patience and practice, I'll get perfect ice balls. Overall, it is a nice design and will be very useful especially for parties where you can impress your guest with your ice!I was provided a discount or sample of the product for my honest unbiased review.
