Beautifully laid out and wonderful designs!
I have just started to try coloring again. I always thought you got to old do color but how wrong I was. I am enjoying this adult coloring book by My Masterpiece more than I expected. The pages are of great quality and the designs are not simple, they draw you in and make you not want to stop until you've finished. I have found with this adult coloring book just how relaxing it truly can be. After a stressful or long day, I can take out My Masterpiece and create my own master work of art even though I can't even draw a good stick figure. To finish one page feels like an accomplishment and very rewarding. I really like that the back of each page is left blank allowing me to either leave it in the book, take it out for framing or I can even use them as a nice little note for a friend. The book is well bound and the outlines sharp with different sizes of spaces to be filled in from tiny to larger without any space being huge like a child's coloring book would be. I like to color with gel pens and colored pencils and found that my gel pens won't bleed through which is a big plus for me. Both the gel pens and the colored pencils glide smoothly on the pages, nothing like the coloring books we grew up with, this book is much more sophisticated with much better paper. I think the design on the front cover is so pretty that I leave it out along with my markers and pens so anyone that is visiting is welcome to color their own pages. I liked the idea another reviewer had of getting together with friends to color, talk and visit, what a lovely idea. My grandson is just starting to learn to color and now we can color together, him with his child's book and me with my adult book. I am very impressed with the thought that has went into this book and the designs that were included. You really can't beat the price for such a lovey coloring book of this quality. This book would make a lovely gift for anyone that likes to color or has yet to learn how enjoyable it can be as an adult. I was provided a sample of the product for my honest unbiased review.
