3 sizes to make icing cakes much easier!
I am not a professional cake decorator but I do like to have my cakes look nice. With this set of angled metal icing spatula's from Orblue, I get just that! You get three sizes of angled spatulas in this set, enough to cover almost any icing job. The only icing job I can think of that you would need a different size for is maybe small cupcakes but I prefer to use an icing bag with small icing jobs.
The set is well made from stainless steel so rusting isn't a worry. They are secured into a plastic handle although the largest one in my set, didn't have the handle fully set into the handle, therefore, I took off a star. I didn't find it to be a problem as it iced my cake and no matter how much I tried, the spatula never loosened from the handle so I feel it only affected the cosmetic look.
With this set, I can not only ice my cakes much faster but have a much nicer finished look to them. I like that I can toss them on the top rack of the dishwasher so clean up is a breeze. If I was allowed to change one thing it would be the handles. While the plastic handles are great quality, I'd like to see maybe a silicone coating to make them have a nicer feel to them.
Overall, I was very happy to have this set to meet all my icing needs and speed up getting my cake ready for decorating or presenting!
