Salt lamps have been said to purify the air as the lamp warms up from the bulb inside, which is why most people of people use them. They put off dirt, pollen, cigarette smoke, and other contaminants from the air.
This handmade natural pink Himalayan salt lamp comes with a Neem Wood Base, UL approved US standard cable and with a dimmer switch. The addition of the dimmer switch lets you choose the amount of light and/or mood you want to achieve.
Even though it says "pink" the lamp gives off a slight orange glow, which I like better than the traditional glow of my other lights. This lamp is great for helping me relax when I'm tired, stressed or just need some unwinding.
The lamp is just barely warm to the touch so no worries about being burned. I don't suggest using the lamp in damp areas, such as a bathroom since the salt will absorb moisture.
