Really does keep your cold drinks for 24 hours and the color is awesome!
I have to admit that the first thing that drew me to this insulated water bottle was the beautiful purple color. Purple is my favorite color but finding things in that color is sometimes difficult. Once I got past the excitement of the color, I wanted something that would keep my drink cold for more than 5 or 6 hours as I find myself more and more out and about for long periods of time. I received the insulated water bottle by Homdox quickly and couldn't wait to take it on my first outing. The purple color is beautiful and vibrant, I love it! I had to test it first as I didn't want to take it with me and then find out it didn't keep my sweet tea nice and cold. I cleaned the bottle with soap and water and then filled it half full of ice and then added water. I left it out, with the lid on, over night and checked it around lunch the next day giving it a good 19 hour test. When I opened the water bottle I was pleasantly surprised that I still had ice left and the water was very cold! The lid was super easy to take off and put on. Having the wide opening made it simple to fill with ice and the wide lid made is much easier for me to open. Having arthritis in my hands it's hard to open smaller lids but this lid was a perfect size with ridges along the outer rim to aid in opening. The water bottle appears to be made out of quality stainless steel so I don't have to worry about rust. The large opening makes cleaning so much easier than my husbands stanley thermos and it even works better than his. The outside *the colored portion* of the water bottle is textured to make it easier to hold and not have to worry about it slipping from your hand. I didn't see any signs of sweating like I do with my husband's thermos, in fact the outside was as dry the next day as it was when I filled it. Not many companies stand behind their product with a 100% guarantee and that was another thing I looked at when searching. The insulated water bottle is BPA free and a great overall insulated water bottle. It comes in other colors that I'm sure will be just as nice as my purple one!
